Needs

This is a list I've prepared for myself as I plan for the Home Study and placement of a child. If you would like to help me with this list, you are more than welcomed to do so!

Reminder: Kids will be ages 6-10

Kid’s Bedroom/Person

• Twin Comforter (something girly - pinks or light blues/greens - butterflies)
• Twin Sheet Sets (mainly in need of some girly sheets)
• Back of the door multi-pocket storage (those material/plastic shoe storage) 
• Books (for ages 6-10)
• Sweat/"stretchy" pants (various sizes for ages 6-10)
• T-shirts (various sizes for ages 6-10)
• Underwear (new, Boy's & Girl's various sizes)
• Lunch Bag (gender-neutral)
• Lamp with easy to use switch (on base or pull chain)
• Shoes (various sizes & types)
• Pajamas (Boy's & Girl's various sizes for ages 6-10)
• Small Fan

Bathroom

• Towels, Hand Towels, Wash cloths (Kid themed or chocolate brown)
• Kid-friendly shampoo, conditioner, & body wash
• Kid-friendly toothbrushes & toothpaste
• Kid-sized hair brushes/combs
• No-slip Tub mat
• Step stool (fold-up kind)

Other Items

• Journals
• Sketch books
• School & Art supplies (crayons, markers, glue, paper, pencils, etc.)
• Kid-friendly DVD's
• Board/Card games
• Small cars/trucks (like Hotwheels or Matchbox)
• Small dolls (incl. barbie like dolls)
• Kid's Bicycle w/ removable training wheels
• Kid-sized folding table (like a card table)
• Shelving for storage in garage (those 5-shelved bk shelves work well)
• Plastic Storage Tubs (to store stocked clothing, toys, etc)
• Gift Cards: Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, Lowes, Home Depot 

House Preps

• Get a land-line
• Various organization, cleaning, and “fix it” tasks inside & out‘
• Stock up on Toilet Paper, Kleenex, Laundry Detergent, etc, etc
